We are delighted to announce that Norwood Textiles Ltd, one of the UK's leading manufacturers and distributors of readymade and custom made curtains, has chosen Realitex from Wharncliffe Business Systems to support its plans for growth by implementing streamlined business processes and excellence in customer services.
Norwood Textiles has been aware of the success of the Realitex-Sage Line 500 system in their specialist market sector over recent years, and were impressed with the flexibility of the system to cope with the nuances of textiles sales and purchasing, stock management, manufacturing, EDI, paperless picking and distribution.
In addition to the standard Realitex system, Norwood will also take full advantage of several other market leading specialist software products, all of which are fully integrated with the Realitex system including Cognos Business Intelligence, Orbis Task Centre alerting and Business Automation and Version One’s plain paper laser printed and e-mailed business forms.
Wharncliffe's consultative approach to addressing Norwood’s requirements for a rapid return on IT investment was met with full approval by the Norwood Board. Operations Director, Peter Annison commented, "the implementation of the Realitex system will provide us with significant benefits in all business areas.
