Whitestone Weavers, Carpet Line Direct and Gaskell Mackay are set to install Realitex at their new 120000 square metre Hartlepool carpet distribution centre.
Whitestone MD, Steve Byrne comments, "Our businesses have come a long way since they were established in the mid 1990's and Realitex has undoubtedly been a key factor in their success. We like to think that we have been at the forefront of technical innovation for business advantage ever since – for example we were amongst the very first to adopt Realitex for paperless picking and integrated cutting and we haven’t looked back since.
Now, as we take our businesses to the next level through a multi million pound investment in our infrastructure, we envisage IT playing an ever more important part in streamlining our everyday processes, from answering the phone to booking the order, dealing with any questions our customers may have, picking the stock, optimising our warehouse and loading the vans.
