What does Invu really do?

Scanning
Invu will support many different file formats, including those generated from scanning. The most common is TIFF but it also supports PDF, JPEG and many more.

Indexing
Invu allocates a unique number to every version of every document. You can even set your documents to display like a filing cabinet, which can make it easier to store and file information. Alternatively, you can completely automate the indexing process.

Searching
Invu contains state-of-the art search and retrieval facilities. Using either an indexing system or document content, you can search quickly and easily. Results are displayed by category and are instantly understandable.

Viewing
With Invu, you can see your documents in a single or multi-page format, making it easy to navigate through large documents in a logical and simple way.

Creating
Provided the relevant application is installed, Invu gives you the ability to create files of any type. You simply decide where it needs to be filed in Invu and your users (security permitting) will be able to find it, retrieve it or search its content with speed and efficiency.

Security
Invu’s security can be configured to allow users and groups to view, edit, delete, index and view information, according to their own privileges.

Version Control
The software allows you to edit any document and create a new version. Other users will be notified that the document is being modified but will still be able to see previous versions. Version numbers are also generated automatically.
